The Colgate University men's basketball team will travel to Bethlehem, Pa. on Wednesday, Feb. 29 to face Lehigh in the quarterfinals of the Patriot League Tournament. The game is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. at Stabler Arena and will be streamed live on Patriot League All-Access.

THE SERIES WITH LEHIGH
This will be the 79th meeting between Colgate and Lehigh with the Raiders leading the all-time series 47-31. Lehigh won both meetings this season, including a 89-69 win at Stabler Arena. Colgate swept the series against the Mountain Hawks last year, including a 94-90 overtime win in Bethlehem.
COLGATE TOURNAMENT HISTORY
The Raiders are making their 22nd appearance in the Patriot League Tournament, where they own a 16-19 record. Colgate has made four trips the championship game, winning two (1995, 1996). The Raiders have faced Lehigh five times in the Patriot League Tournament with the Mountain Hawks leading the series 3-2. Lehigh has won the last two meetings including a 48-44 win during the 2005-06 season. Colgate's last win was 84-83 during the 1997-98 season. All five meetings have come in the quarterfinals.
LAST TIME OUT
Junior
Mitch Rolls scored a game-high 14 points but it wasn't enough as the Colgate men's basketball team fell to Holy Cross 65-58 on Senior Day at Cotterell Court. All four seniors honored before the game started for the Raiders and combined for 20 points.
Rolls finished the game 5-of-9 from the field, including 3-of-6 from downtown, to lead the Raiders, while sophomore
Pat Moore pitched in 11 points. Senior

Sterling Melville also scored five points apiece in their final game at Cotterell Court. Rolls also led the team with three assists and now has 275 in his career, which ranks fifth all-time at Colgate.
Holy Cross (15-13, 9-5) shot 48 percent (24-50) from the floor, while holding Colgate to 37 percent (20-54) overall and 33 percent (7-21) from deep. Colgate did win the battle on the boards 35-32 and only committed seven turnovers in the loss.
SCOUTING LEHIGH (23-7, 11-3 PL)
Senior John Adams hit a three-pointer with 11 seconds left in overtime to give the Lehigh men's basketball team a 74-72 win at Army Saturday. With the victory, the Mountain Hawks set a school record with their 23rd win of the season while tying a school-mark 11 Patriot League victories.
Junior C.J. McCollum, the Patriot League Player of the Year, paced Lehigh with a game-high 26 points on 11-of-18 shooting while adding six rebounds and five assists, including the pass to Adams for the game-winning three. Junior Gabe Knutson added 17 points while Adams finished with 11.
Lehigh shot 49 percent for the game (29-of-59) while Army finished at 45 percent (26-of-58). The Mountain Hawks shot 38 percent from long range (8-of-21) to the Black Knights' 35 percent (9-of-26). Lehigh won the battle of the boards, 38-29.

Mike Venezia have combined for 45 percent of the Raiders scoring this season along with 37 percent of the total rebounds. Through their career's the 2012 senior class has amassed a total of 3,323 points and 1,420 rebounds.
1,000 & BEYOND
Colgate seniors
Yaw Gyawu and
Mike Venezia have both scored more than 1,000 points in their careers. Last year, Gyawu became the 28th player to reach the 1,000-point club in the maroon and white and ranks 17th all-time (1,222). Venezia recently became the 29th Raider to join the club and enters the game with 1,020 points.
ROLLS SHARING THE ROCK
Colgate junior guard
Mitch Rolls recently entered the top-10 all-time at Colgate with 275 assists. Rolls has distributed 69 helpers this season and is averaging 2.4 per game, which ranks 10th in the Patriot League. Rolls is currently fifth all-time at Colgate, while Hassan Brown '94 holds the school record with 484 assists.
VENEZIA KEEPS RAINING THREES
Colgate senior
Mike Venezia has made a total of 195 three-pointers in his career, which is fourth all-time at Colgate. Former teammate Kyle Roemer '10 holds the school record with 267.
LANGEL INDUCTED INTO SOUTH JERSEY HALL OF FAME

Matt Langel was recently inducted into the Al Carino Basketball Club of South Jersey's Hall of Fame on Sunday, Feb. 12. The club's 30th annual induction ceremonies were held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Cherry Hill, N.J.
Langel, the 20th head coach at Colgate, was an outstanding player at Moorestown High School, where he was a three-year starter for the Quakers and one of the top players in South Jersey during his playing days. The 1996 graduate was named to the Courier-Post All-South Jersey team and finished his career with 1,497 points, the second highest total in Moorestown history.
