Fordham (5-6) opened the third quarter with the ball on its own 27-yard line but Ryan Higgins threw an interception to freshman Chad Frey (Lampeter, Pa.) to give the Raiders great field position at the Fordham 35-yard line. Sullivan then found the end zone on the ground for the second time with a one yard run to put Colgate up 40-0.

The Rams would get on the scoreboard in the third quarter when Higgins completed a three-yard touchdown pass to Gerard Rizzo. Fordham would try a two point conversion, but failed when Higgins pass for Rizzo was broken-up.

Eachus would find the end zone one more time in the fourth quarter on a six yard run to give Colgate a 47-6 lead. The Rams would score one more time, and fail another two point conversion to make the final 47-12.
