The Colgate Raiders (2-0) will travel to Dartmouth (0-0) Saturday, Sept. 19. Kickoff is set for 1:30 p.m. at Memorial Field. The Raiders topped Dartmouth 34-20 last season and have won nine of the last 10 games. Colgate's last loss to the Big Green came in 2005 at Dartmouth.
THE SERIES
This is the 24th meeting between Colgate and Dartmouth, with the Raiders leading 17-5-1. Colgate won the first meeting 16-10 in 1905. The Raiders have won nine of the last 10 meeting, including last season 34-20.

Dick Biddle, who is the winningest football coach in school history, is in his 14th season at the helm of the Raiders. His overall record is 106-49 and is 9-1 against Dartmouth.
Dartmouth head coach Buddy Teevens is in his 10th campaign with the Big Green. He has compiled a mark of 33-55-2 at Dartmouth.
LAST OUTING
Junior quarterback
Greg Sullivan threw for 148 yards and two touchdowns as Colgate defeated Stony Brook 23-13 on Saturday Sept. 5.
Sullivan also had 18 carries for 113 rushing yards, marking the third time in his career that he has rushed for at least 100 yards in a game.
Senior wide receiver
Pat Simonds caught seven passes for 93 yards and two touchdowns on the night. On defense, senior safety
Uzi Idah accrued nine tackles and two sacks, while senior linebacker
Garrington Spence had a 15-yard interception return for a touchdown late in the fourth quarter.
1,000-YARD RUSHING CLUB
Against Stony Brook
Greg Sullivan became just the third quarterback in school history to reach 1,000 yards rushing. The all-time leader is Tom Parr who finished his career in 1974 with 2,221 when Colgate was running the wishbone.
Against Monmouth
Nate Eachus became just the 26th Colgate player to ever reach 1,000 rushing yards in his career. He currently sits 25th with 1,071 yards, just four yards behind 24th.
THE BIDDLE ERA
Last season became a major milestone in the coaching career of Colgate head coach
Dick Biddle. On September 7, Biddle became the winningest football coach in school history with his 97th victory, passing the legendary Andy Kerr.
Entering his 14th season with the Raiders, Biddle has an overall mark of 106-49. He has achieved the best winning percentage (.679) of any Colgate coach with seven or more years at the helm of the Raiders. Biddle is also the first Colgate coach to ever record nine straight seasons with seven or more victories.
He has been named Patriot League Coach of the Year four times while guiding the Raiders to six Patriot League titles and six appearances in the FCS (formally I-AA) playoffs.
In 2003, Biddle was named the American Football Coaches Association Division I-AA National Coach of the Year after leading the Raiders to a 15-1 record, and to the national championship game of the NCAA Division I-AA playoffs.
SIMONDS SAYS

Pat Simonds. Simonds is the first lone Raider team captain since Mike Boorman in 1994.

Dating back to last season the Raiders have won 10 straight regular season games.

The Raiders have a 44-33 record against non-conference foes under coach Biddle, and are 31-8 against teams from the Ivy League.

Coree Moses lead the team with one interception apiece, while Spence returned his for a touchdown.
2009 HONORS
Quarterback
Greg Sullivan was named the Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week and ECAC Offensive Player of the Week following his performance against Stony Brook. These are the first weekly awards this season for the Raiders.
Wide receiver
Pat Simonds was named to the 2009 Sports Network preseason FCS All-America Team.
DARTMOUTH NOTEBOOK
The Big Green return seven starters on offense and five on defense from last year's 0-10 team.
Leading the way on offense is quarterback Alex Jenny who threw for 1,309 yards and five touchdowns in 2008. Last season Jenny passed for 343 yards and one touchdown against the Raiders.
Defensively, the Big Green is led by senior linebacker Joe Battaglia. Last season Battaglia recorded 64 tackles in nine games and is the leading tackler returning.

Colgate will host Fordham Saturday, Sept. 26. Kickoff is set for 6:00 p.m. at Andy Kerr Stadium. The Raiders topped Fordham 31-24 last season and have won five of the last six games. Colgate's last loss to Fordham came in 2007 in Hamilton, N.Y.
