HAMILTON, N.Y. (2/11/09) – The Colgate University women's hockey team looks to gain ground in the ECAC Playoff picture this weekend hosting No.8 Dartmouth and Harvard, Feb. 13-14. The Raiders will face off with the Big Green on Friday, Feb. 13 at 7 p.m., and with the Crimson on Saturday, Feb. 14 at 4 p.m. The Raiders will honor eight seniors on Saturday.
Friday's game will be televised live on Time Warner Sports, local channel 26, while Saturday's contest will be available to Colgate All-Access subscribers. Live stats will be provided free of charge for both games.

Colgate sports a 16-10-3 overall record, 10-5-3 in ECAC Hockey after a weekend split with Princeton (1-3) and Quinnipiac (4-1). Leading the Raiders up front is senior
Sam Hunt (Calgary, Alta.) with a team-high 26 points. Hunt has 12 goals and 14 assists. Junior
Katie Stewart (Exeter, Ont.) has 23 points while junior
Beth Rotenberg (Toronto, Ont.) has 22. Stewart leads the team in goals with 13 while Hunt has 12 and junior
Evan Minnick (Highlands Ranch, Colo.) 11. Senior
Kiira Dosdall (Fairfield, Conn.) leads in assists with a school record for a defenseman 19. Dosdall headlines the defenders with 23 points off four goals and 19 assists while classmate
Clancy Todd (Thorold, Ont.) has 16 and freshman
Amanda Kirwan (Mississauga, Ont.) seven.
Colgate has rotated two goaltenders; sophomore
Lisa Plenderleith (Ajax, Ont.), and freshman
Kimberly Sass (East Amherst, N.Y.). Plenderleith is 4-5 with a 3.26 GAA and a .883 save percentage, while Sass is 11-4-3 with a 2.08 GAA with a .934 save percentage. Both goaltenders have recorded one shutout this season.
Dartmouth holds a 21-2-1 advantage in the series. Colgate's second win came last season a 2-1 (OT) decision in January at Thompson Arena. The Big Green took the first game this season 7-2 at Thompson Arena.
Dartmouth is 16-6-2 overall and sports a 13-3-2 league mark. The Big Green is currently on a four game winning streak after a sweep of Brown (1-0) and Yale (3-2) last weekend. Dartmouth is led by sophomore Amanda Trunzo with 29 points, senior Maggie Kennedy with 28 and junior Jenna Cunningham with 27 points. Senior Carli Clemis has played 20 of the Big Green's 24 games and sports a 13-6-1 record, with a 2.20 goals against average and a .919 save percentage.
Harvard has a 12-1-2 edge over Colgate in the all-time series. Colgate posted its first victory over Harvard on Feb. 10, 2007 at Starr Rink, on Senior Day. The two teams tied 5-5 during the first meeting this season at Bright Hockey Center.
Harvard is 13-8-3 overall 12-4-2 in ECAC, after winning a pair last weekend against Yale (2-1) and Brown (4-0), before dropping to Boston College (0-1) on Tuesday. The Crimson has a 7-5-1 record on the road this season. Harvard is led by a pair of seniors up front in Sarah Vaillancourt who has 36 points in 19 games this season, and Jenny Brine who has 22 points. Harvard uses one goaltender junior Christina Kessler. Kessler is 11-6-2 overall, with a .924 save percentage and a 1.69 GAA.
Since 2001 the Raiders are 61-46-8 at home, outscoring their opponents by 54 goals (321-267). All time, Colgate is 89-60-13 at home and has scored 142 more goals than its opponents at Starr Rink.
