Before Colgate
Tom Biscardi was appointed to the Colgate Football staff as an assistant coach for outside linebackers in March 2025.

Biscardi heads to Hamilton with five years of coaching experience, two at the FCS Division I level. He most recently spent the 2024 season as the linebackers coach at Marist College after a four-year stint at Ithaca College as the linebackers coach and defensive run game coordinator.

With the Bombers, Biscardi helped the squad to a 29-6 record with two Division III tournament appearances, also coaching the Liberty League Defensive Player of the Year in 2022 and 2023.

In 2023, Biscardi mentored first team All-American Ben Stola, who was also named first team All-Region and Liberty League Defensive Player of the Year. Stola registered 118 tackles, 12 stops for loss, and three interceptions.

The 2022 season saw Biscardi coach Matt DeSimpliciis, a second team All-American, first team All-Region selection and Liberty League Defensive Player of the Year. DeSimpliciis tallied 90 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, and five-and-a-half sacks.

Before his tenure at Ithaca, Biscardi spent a season at Princeton as the defensive quality control coach primarily assisting with the defensive line and linebackers in 2019.

The previous year, he worked at his alma mater, The College of New Jersey, again coaching the team’s outside linebackers.
