SMITHFIELD, R.I. - Ryan Schachter's 77th minute strike helped the Raiders earn a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Bryant on Sunday at Beirne Stadium.

"Today was a complete team effort and full commitment to our game plan. Our team showed toughness and resilience throughout the match, especially after conceding a goal. It was a strong performance against a top college soccer team and is an exciting performance to build on as we head into our first Patriot League game this week."
MOMENTS OF THE MATCH
- Bryant came out attacking with five shots in the first 15 minutes but the Raiders' defense held strong.
- Blake Pipkin took Colgate's first shot of the day halfway through the first frame.
- The Raiders were outshot in the opening half, 4-1, but the score remained 0-0 after 45 minutes.
- The Bulldogs scored the opening goal less than a minute into the second half.
- With 13 minutes to go, Ryan Schachter picked the ball up at midfield, took two dribbles and fired from 30 yards out into the bottom left corner to equalize for the Raiders.
- Gavin Vichengrad was subbed on for Colgate in net and came up with several stops in the final 10 minutes in the match to earn a draw.
NOTES
- Vichengrad made his collegiate debut when he subbed on in the 49th minute and came up with eight stops in 41 minutes including six in the final 10 minutes
- Schachter scored his first goal of the season and his first since his collegiate debut against Stonehill back on Aug. 21, 2025.
- The Raiders faced a staggering 32 shots including 12 on target, but were anchored by full 90 minute shifts by Jack Beerling, Malik Samms, and Otto Bourne.
