Special Recognition 
  • Colgate Athletics recognized football senior Treyvhon Saunders and women's swimming and diving junior MG King as its Athletes of the Year during the 19th annual Golden 'Gates. Lyndse Hokanson garnered the Coach of the Year honor. 
  • Erik Ronning became the winningest coach in Colgate Men's Soccer history with his 161st win in a 1-0 victory over Binghamton.
  • Curt Fitzpatrick earned his first win as the Fred '50 Marilyn Dunlap Head Football Coach with a 44-21 triumph over Fordham on Sept. 20, 2025.
  • Shannon Bush, the new women's basketball head coach, earned her first collegiate victory with a 53-43 road win at Siena.
  • Damien Prohaska, the new women's tennis head coach, capped off his first collegiate victory at Siena, with a commanding 4-1 showing.
  • Colgate Softball broke six team records, six individual records, and five first-year records, while advancing to the Patriot League championship for the first time since 2011. The Raiders finished 29-27 overall, their most wins in a season since 2004 (34). 
  • MG King of the Colgate women's swimming and diving team won gold in the 200-yard backstroke at the Patriot League championship, becoming the first individual conference champion since 2012. 
  • First-year wide receiver Matt Fogler was named a Jerry Rice Award finalist, the annual award presented to the nation's FCS rookie of the year. 
  • The Colgate field hockey program had 11 members selected to the National Academic Squad and, as a team, earned the National Academic Team Award.
  • Colgate men's and women's hockey saw 10 student-athletes earn Division I All-American Scholar honors, recognized by AHCA/Krampade.
  • Jim Lister, head coach of the women's rowing program, had their newest boat in their fleet named after him. This was made possible by the generosity of alumnae Natalie McCall ('25) and her mother Ashley McCall.
  • Both men's and women's rowing celebrated their 50th anniversaries at Colgate.
