Message From Vice President, Director of Athletics Yariv Amir '01

I am pleased to share that the March Mania Challenge raised more than $1 million for Colgate athletics for the fifth year in a row. Thanks to the support of the Colgate community, we surpassed our goal of $900,000, reaching a total of $1,292,235 from 2,265 donors.

Included in that tally, with thanks to the support of our Challengers, the Colgate Athletics Fund will receive $125,000 to enhance the student-athlete experience across all sports. And, every varsity team met its alumni participation goal, each earning a $5,000 bonus that coaches will put toward what their teams need most.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this success possible! I am especially grateful to those CAF Challengers and the alumni and families who sponsored team-specific matches and challenges. All are listed below. 

Colgate athletics is fortunate to have the support of so many alumni and friends, and your commitment to the true student-athlete experience inspires us every day. Your generosity helps our student-athletes train and compete in the sports they love as they experience all the opportunities a word-class Colgate education has to offer.
