ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Colgate University delivered a strong slate of finals performances Friday night at the 2026 Patriot League Championship, highlighted by multiple A-final appearances and podium-level scoring efforts at Lejeune Hall.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Audrey Collins and Natalie Hofer delivered two of Colgate's top performances, both finishing fourth in the A Final of their respective events to secure 26 points for the Raiders. Collins also added an eighth-place finish in the 100 breaststroke (1:02.75), giving her two A-final swims on the night.
Collins tied the program record in the 100-yard butterfly, placing fourth with a time of 54.02 – less than a half-second behind the bronze finisher from Loyola. Hofer clocked in at 1:01.97 in the 100-yard breaststroke – slightly over a second behind Navy's bronze finisher.
Paige Fisher found success in the 200-yard freestyle, winning the B Final to place ninth overall in 1:49.86, just ahead of her teammate Katie Miller (1:51.06). MG King brought home 12 points with a 15th-place finish in the 100-yard backstroke, turning in a time of 55.95.
Charlotte Ducanois continued the momentum in the 400 IM, placing 12th overall with a time of 4:25.52 to secure valuable points out of the B Final.
On the men's side, Michael Granin raced to a program-record time of 1:38.17 in the 200-yard freestyle, placing 11th overall and third in a tight B Final that saw David Brophy finish in 1:38.83. Connor O'Neill earned 11 points with a 16th-place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke (56.69).
Nick Pompo scored in 1-meter diving with an 11th-place total of 278.65. In the 400 IM, Matthew Szypula posted a 22nd-place finish in 4:01.20, while Andrew Mazzacano added a 24th-place swim in 4:07.81.
The men's 200-yard freestyle relay team of Granin, Jack Lira, Tim Brooks, and Brophy secured a ninth-place time of 1:22.76, two seconds faster than its preliminary time.

The Patriot League championship concludes on Saturday with a full day of action. Preliminaries are set for 10 a.m., followed by the finals beginning at 6 p.m.
