BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Seniors
Liam Winograd and
Eric Widrick represented the Colgate men's soccer team with All-Patriot League Third team honors, the conference announced on Friday afternoon.
Winograd lands All-League Third Team honors for the second time in his career after starting 13 games and playing more than 1,100 minutes as a defender. Widrick boasted a 5-7-5 record in net with 81 saves to go along with a 1.00 goals-against average and .827 save percentage. The duo helped anchor a defense that ranked second in the Patriot League in goals allowed per game (1.0).
Winograd, a Third Team All-League selection in 2023 and 2025, helped Colgate's defense post nine shutouts on the season including five in Patriot League play. The Raiders went three straight league games without conceding a goal – spanning Sept. 20-Oct. 4 – against Bucknell, Lafayette, and Navy.
The senior defender played all 90 minutes in 12 of his 13 games played this season. He also added two shots against Fordham and Holy Cross.
Widrick started all 17 games and played every minute of the season in net for the 2025 Raiders. He posted nine shutouts – one shy of the program's all-time record for most shutouts in a single-season. He registered 81 saves, best in the Patriot League, along with a league-best .827 save percentage.
The Arlington, Mass., native produced seven or more saves in five matches, including a season-high 12 stops against Cornell (Oct. 14). Five of his nine clean sheets came in Patriot League play. In nine league games, Widrick conceded just five goals – good for a 0.56 goals-against and .868 save percentage.
