Raiders Set Personal Bests in NCAA Regionals

All eight Raiders set personal-best times in New Hampshire

HOPKINTON, N.H. - The Colgate women's and men's cross country teams traveled to Hopkinton, N.H. to compete at the NCAA Northeast Regional Championships on Friday. 

COACH FRANCE'S COMMENTS

"It was a perfect close to the season. We had eight PRs for all eight individuals who competed, proving to be a good redemption meet after conference. On the men's side, we finished with the best 10k average in Colgate history. Very excited to move on to indoor season with this much strength."

WOMEN
Sophomores Nell Droege and Annie Reilly represented Colgate in the women's 6k. Droege broke through the top 100 competitors, placing 89th overall with a time of 21:25.3. Reilly crossed the line 15 seconds after at 21:41.2, finishing 108th out of 251 other entries.

MEN
The men's team was represented by upperclassmen, with senior John Griffith continuing to lead the Raiders in performance. Griffith ran the men's 8k in 30:55.3, placing 78th out of 263 runners.

Andrew McGraw and Owen McMorrow crossed next for the Raiders and finished less than a second apart. McGraw took 110th place with a final time of 31.19.1, while McMorrow placed 114th 0.8 seconds later.

Juniors Liam Davis, Dakin Ebmeyer, and Will Keiser rounded out Colgate's entries, finishing 117th, 125th, and 138th, respectively.

The men's team finished 19th out of 38 teams with 536 points.
