Raiders Close Out Regular Season at Cornell

First-years Doyle and Bergfalk highlight finishers

ITHACA, N.Y. - The Raiders' cross country teams traveled to Ithaca, N.Y. to compete in Cornell's John Reif Memorial Invitational on Friday afternoon.

COACH FRANCE'S COMMENTS
"Today's meet at Cornell served as a great development opportunity for our team. It was a great course and with the competitive field provided valuable experience for our athletes to test their training progress and build confidence heading into the latter part of the season. We saw encouraging individual efforts and continued growth in our pack running, which will be important as many in our field will be focusing on preparing for our upcoming track season. Very pleased with the progress."

WOMEN

Beatriz Engels crossed the finish line third in the women's 5k event at 19:54.1. Isabelle Tescano placed fifth in the event with a time of 20:03.5.

First-year Emmal Bergfalk was Colgate's third finisher with a time of 20:28.7. Mia Burton and Emma Klina finished after with times of 21:02.7 and 21:28.9 respectively.

MEN

First year Michael Doyle was Colgate's top finisher in the men's 5k earning a time of 16:09.1. Doyle was followed by Asim Hakim-Floriam, who crossed at 16:17.6, and Mason Telatnik at 16:23.4.

Colgate's top five was rounded out by Ryan Wilson and Finley Tobin.

UP NEXT
The Raiders head to Bethlehem, Pa. for the Patriot League Championships next Friday. The meet is set to begin at 12 p.m. with the women and 1 p.m. for the men.
