BOSTON, Mass. — Colgate men's rowing competed at the renowned Head of the Charles Regatta this weekend.

"The guys had a solid row for the first race of the season. Unfortunately a few crews ahead of us on the race course did not yield as we passed them and we ended up trading some paint, which cost us some overall time."
Collegiate Eight
Members of the men's collegiate eight clinched tenth place out of 42 crews, finishing with a time of 14:58.538.
The top five consisted of Holy Cross, which took first place with a time of 14:25.533, followed by Tufts, Wesleyan, Trinity, and Temple.Â

On Saturday, the men's rowing team will travel to Philadelphia, Pa., for the Head of the Schuylkill.
