HAMILTON – Josie Stockill blocked five shots Saturday to push her career total past the 200 mark, but it wasn't enough in a 71-51 loss to first-place Bucknell.
Stockill upped her season aggregate to 68 blocks, matching her Colgate record-breaking figure from last season but doing so this year in just 16 games. The senior captain leads all of Division I in blocked shots at 4.3 per game.

Kateri Stone led all scorers with 16, aided by 3-of-4 shooting from beyond the arc.
Colgate's Napier, New Zealand, native owns the Raider game, season and career blocked-shot records, along with the Patriot League game record. Her 13 blocks at Lafayette on Dec. 22 broke the previous Patriot marks for blocks in a game (12) and blocks in a Patriot League game (11).
Bucknell opened Saturday's game with a 12-0 lead and outscored Colgate in all four quarters to improve to 12-5 overall and a perfect 6-0 in the Patriot League.
Colgate travels to Boston University this Wednesday at 7 p.m.

Katie Curtis made a pair of free throws with 2:45 showing on the first-quarter clock.
• Colgate shot just 19.4 percent from the field in the opening half to Bucknell's 42.9, yet the Raiders trailed only 28-18 at intermission.
• The Raiders stayed close by protecting the ball, committing just four first-half turnovers.
• Trailing 33-18 with 8:06 left in the third, Colgate scored nine straight to pull within 33-27 with 5:28 showing. Stockill scored the first four during that stretch and Stone the last five on a 3-ball and a pair of free throws.
• But Bucknell answered with eight consecutive points and led 41-27 with 3:11 left.

• The Bison claimed a 49-29 rebounding edge, but were hampered by 20 turnovers. Bucknell also posted a 42-20 advantage on points in the paint.
• Claire DeBoer registered her fifth double-double of the season for Bucknell with 15 points and 12 rebounds.
