HAMILTON, N.Y. (2/15/11) – The Colgate women's basketball team will continue Patriot League play on Wednesday, Feb. 16 when it hosts Patriot League foe, Lehigh, at 7 p.m. on Cotterell Court.

Sami Kozlowski led the Raiders in scoring with nine points in the game while classmate
Krista Moser was second with eight points and a team-best 10 rebounds.
PATRIOT LEAGUE PLAY
Colgate is currently sitting in eighth place in the league standings with a 2-8 record. The team has wins over Navy and Lafayette, and has suffered setbacks to Army and American twice, Lehigh, Bucknell, Holy Cross and Lafayette. Navy and American are tied for first in the standings both with a 7-3 record.
COURT LEADERS
Senior
Tayler Wejnert and sophomore
Jhazmine Lynch lead the team in scoring both with an average of 11.9 points per game. Wejnert also averages 5.6 rebounds per game while Lynch, who leads the league in steals with 2.4 per game, has a 3.5 rebound average. Moser, who is averaging 6.8 points, leads the team in rebounds with 6.7 per game.
TEAM STATS
The Raiders lead the league in three-point field goal percentage (.346) and defensive rebounds (26.7 rebounds per game), and are second in rebounding offense (39.1 rebounds per game).
THE SERIES
This is the second meeting between the two teams this season with Lehigh defeating the Raiders 75-57 on Jan. 19. The Mountain Hawks now lead the all-time series, owning a 29-21 record against Colgate, dating back to when the teams first met in the 1986-87 season. Since then the Raiders have won 12 of the 22 meetings on Cotterell Court, giving them a 12-10 winning record at home. Colgate's last win at home was in the 2005-06 season when it defeated Lehigh 71-69 in overtime.
SCOUTING LEHIGH
The Mountain Hawks (16-9, 6-4 PL) are coming off a 70-57 win over Army on Saturday. The team, which is currently in third place in the league standings below Navy and American, has wins over Colgate, Bucknell, Holy Cross, American and Navy, and losses to American, Navy, Army and Lafayette.
Picked to finish second in the preseason poll, Lehigh is led by seniors Erica Prosser and Courtney Dentler. Prosser, who leads the league in assists (5.6 per game), leads the team in scoring with 13.8 points per game. She was also recently named the Patriot League Anaconda Player of the Week for her performance last week. Dentler is second, averaging 11.6 points and 5.6 rebounds while junior Alexa Williams, who averages 6.0 points per game, leads the team in rebounds with 5.7 per game.
PRESEASON POLL
The Raiders were picked to finish tied at sixth with Lafayette in the Patriot League Preseason Poll that was released on Oct. 28. Last season's runner-up, American, was picked to finish first with a total of 93 points and nine first-place votes, which was two points over defending champions, Lehigh, who had 91 points and seven first-place votes. Following the Eagles and Mountain Hawks are Navy (70), Army (59), Holy Cross (42), Colgate (40), Lafayette (40) and Bucknell (31).
