The No. 23 Colgate Raiders (5-0, 1-0) will travel to Princeton (1-2, 0-1) Thursday, Oct. 8. Kickoff is set for 7:04 p.m. on ESPNU. The Raiders topped Princeton 27-24 last season and have won four of the last five games. Colgate's last loss to the Tigers came in 2006 at Hamilton.

This is the 51st meeting between Colgate and Princeton, with the Tigers leading 26-23-1. Colgate won last season 27-24 in Hamilton.

THE COACHES
Colgate head coach
Dick Biddle, who has the most wins in school history, is in his 14th season at the helm of the Raiders. His overall record is 109-49 and is 6-3 against Princeton.
Princeton head coach Roger Hughes is in his 10th campaign with the Tigers. He has compiled a mark of 44-48 at Princeton.
LAST OUTING
Sophomore running back
Nate Eachus rushed for 129 yards and 3 touchdowns as Colgate defeated Cornell 45-23 on Saturday.
Eachus led an outstanding Raider offensive effort during Homecoming Weekend, as Colgate gained 561 yards overall and 334 yards on the ground. The overall yardage total is Colgate's 11th highest in school history. Furthermore, Colgate is 5-0 for only the eighth time since the football program was created in 1895.
PRINCETON NOTEBOOK
Princeton is led on offense by quarterback Tommy Wornham and wider receiver Trey Peacock. Wornham, a dual threat, leads Princeton in both rushing and passing averaging 192.4 yards of total offense per game. When passing Wornham's favorite target is Peacock, who has 15 receptions on the season for 124 yards.
GAME CHANGING COACHES
The offensive coaching staff was named to the Game Changing Coaches series by FootballScoop.com, following the 45-23 thumping of Cornell.
The Raiders totaled 32 first downs, 9 of 12 third down conversions, 561 total yards, and allowed zero sacks to defeat a previously undefeated Cornell team. Offensive coordinator
Dan Hunt chose to run the football 60 times for 344 yards. Colgate was equally efficient in the passing game, completing 14-18 attempts.
1,000-YARD RUSHING CLUB
This season
Greg Sullivan became just the third quarterback in school history to reach 1,000 yards rushing. The all-time leader is Tom Parr who finished his career in 1974 with 2,221 when Colgate was running the wishbone.
Nate Eachus also became just the 27th Colgate player to ever reach 1,000 rushing yards in his career. He currently sits 25th with 1,200 yards, just 50 yards behind 24th.
CAREER RECEIVING CHART
Senior wide receiver
Pat Simonds has moved into fifth place on the school's all-time receiving yardage list with 2,214 yards on 131 catches. Simonds is second in the Patriot League in scoring averaging 7.2 points per game.

THE BIDDLE ERA
Last season became a major milestone in the coaching career of Colgate head coach
Dick Biddle. On September 7, Biddle became the winningest football coach in school history with his 97th victory, passing the legendary Andy Kerr.
Entering his 14th season with the Raiders, Biddle has an overall mark of 109-49. He has achieved the best winning percentage (.690) of any Colgate coach with seven or more years at the helm of the Raiders. Biddle is also the first Colgate coach to ever record nine straight seasons with seven or more victories.
He has been named Patriot League Coach of the Year four times while guiding the Raiders to six Patriot League titles and six appearances in the FCS (formally I-AA) playoffs.
In 2003, Biddle was named the American Football Coaches Association Division I-AA National Coach of the Year after leading the Raiders to a 15-1 record, and to the national championship game of the NCAA Division I-AA playoffs.

Dick Biddle is a front-runner for the 2009 Liberty Mutual Coach of the Year Award voted on by fans.
The award provides each coach with $50,000 to donate to the charity or charities of his choice, as well as a $20,000 grant to donate to his school's alumni association.

This game will feature similar style offenses as both teams have dual threat quarterbacks. Colgate is currently ranked first in the nation with 277.0 rushing yards per game, while Princeton is ranked 47th with 151.0. Colgate is ranked sixth in the nation in total offense (449.4 ypg), while Princeton is 91st (284.67 ypg).
Defensively, the Raiders are ranked 18th in total defense (274.6 ypg), while Princeton is 78th (365.33 ypg).

Pat Simonds was named to the 2009 Sports Network preseason FCS All-America Team.

Colgate is ranked 23rd in the Sports Network poll and 24th in the FCS Coaches Polls. The Raiders received 626 points in the Sports Network poll and 92 votes in the FCS Coaches poll.
