HAMILTON, N.Y. (1/20/09) - The Colgate women's basketball team will look for their first Patriot League win on Wednesday night, when they travel to Stabler Arena to take on Lehigh. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
The Raiders (4-14, 0-3 PL) enter the match on a four-game losing streak, including a 63-47 loss at American on Saturday. The Mountain Hawks (13-5, 2-1PL) are off to their best start since 2004-05, despite falling to Army, 54-52, last Saturday.
Lehigh defeated Colgate in both meetings last year, including a 51-39 loss in their second meeting of the season. The Mountain Hawks have won the last five meetings, holding a slight advantage in the all-time series, 23-21.

Sophomore Sami Kozlowski (New Market, Md.) is averaging 10.3 points per game and leads the Raiders in assists with 2.9 per game while Tayler Wejnert (Ramsey, N.J.) is averaging 11.9 points off the bench.
Georgia Gier (Mercer Island, Wash.) leads the Raiders on the boards averaging 6.6 rebounds per game, followed closely by freshman Tricia Oakes (Evergreen, Colo.) with 6.5 rebounds per game. Oakes also averages 9.4 points per game and is coming off her second career double-double. She has already won the Patriot League Rookie of the Week award five times this season, including the past two weeks.
Patriot League Player of the Week, Erica Prosser, leads Lehigh in scoring averaging 14.3 points per game, followed by Alex Ross with 12.6 points per game. Senior Tricia Smith tops the Mountain Hawks on the boards with 6.4 rebounds per game.
