Glendening Boathouse

Glendening Boathouse is the home of the men’s and women’s rowing teams. This facility is located three miles from campus along Madison Street northward on beautiful Lake Moraine. Glendening houses the team racing boats and equipment as well as a multifunctional conference room, coaches offices and various recreational watercraft.

The dedication of Glendening Boathouse was conducted April 17, 2004. This facility was given in memory and to honor Catherine Long Glendening by her family and husband, John W. Glendening Jr. ’38, and sons, John W. Glendening III, Robert L. Glendening ’71 and Bruce B. Glendening ’77.
